AR Management refers to customers and collecting money owed for services. Typically, this is critical for businesses that offer and complete services before collecting payment—for example, management companies, consultants, etc. 

Tasks include maintaining updated customer information, sending out invoices, taking and applying customer payments, answering customer inquiries, and following up on overdue/late fees and collections.

AR Management is important because a business is only as viable as the funds it has on hand or the readily collectible money. Without this type of management, bad debts arise, and cash flow issues will soon follow. Without proper management of customer information, invoicing, and payment problems occur that can affect the ability of a business to secure loans/investment funds or meet covenants.

At MFR LLC, we will handle all functions of AR Management, including invoicing, customer information maintenance, and sending out reminders for overdue payments.

Your customers are our customers, so they will feel valued and shown the utmost respect when dealing with such sensitive matters. 

We also will hold bi-weekly/monthly meetings with owners/leadership to keep track of the AR Aging of the funds and expected payments to be received to assist with forecasting and cash flow planning.
